Why Atomz

Your search box was never the problem. Your catalog is.

Shoppers ask agents now, and an agent can only recommend a product it can read. Atomz makes your Shopify catalog readable, so your search, your assistant, and the agents off your store all work from one source you own.

How it works

What happens when a shopper asks for a product.

When a shopper asks for a product, on your search bar or inside ChatGPT, Perplexity, or Google, the agent does not read your page the way a person does. It queries catalogs and matches the request against structured attributes like material, fit, use case, skin type, and compatibility. Your photography, your marketing copy, and your brand story are invisible to it.

So when those attributes are not in your catalog as data, the agent has nothing to match, and your product is left out of the answer even when it is the best fit for the question. That is how a store can have great products and still be unfindable. The catalog reads beautifully to a human and says almost nothing to an agent.

Atomz fixes that one layer. It reads the products you already have, maps each to the Shopify Standard Product Taxonomy, and writes the structured attributes into your own Shopify metafields. Once the catalog is readable, the same data feeds your on-store search, your grounded assistant, and the off-site agents that read Shopify Catalog, so every surface gets smarter from one source you own.

The suite

One readable catalog, four products on top.

Fixing the catalog is the work. Once it is readable, four products run on the same data: Catalog Genius writes the attributes, AI Search and the AI Assistant answer shoppers with them, and AI Insights scores what is still missing.

Every product, read and enriched.

Catalog Genius maps each product to the Shopify taxonomy and writes structured attributes to your metafields, so an agent reads the data it needs instead of guessing from the description.

The case for Atomz

Four reasons it works where a search app does not.

Shoppers ask, they don't browse

Discovery moved from clicking through collections to asking a question, whether that question goes to a search bar, ChatGPT, Perplexity, or Google. The store that answers wins the sale.

Run the agent on your store

An assistant inside ChatGPT keeps the customer, the data, and the margin for the platform. Run the agent on your own store and you keep all three.

The catalog is the engine

Search, the assistant, and off-site visibility all read the same catalog. Map it to the Shopify taxonomy once and every surface gets smarter together.

Proof before you pay

The free audit reads your live store and scores it. We have run it on 2,000+ stores. You see the gap before you spend a dollar.

Off-site discovery

Found where the buyer is already asking.

More buying questions now start in ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google than on any store's own search bar, and those agents read Shopify Catalog. The same structured attributes that power your on-store search decide whether you appear in the answer a shopper sees before they reach your site, so one readable catalog works on your store and on every surface off it.

Why it matters

The enterprises will be fine. We built this for the independents.

A brand with a data team and a seven-figure platform can structure its catalog by hand. An independent brand on Shopify cannot, and it is the one this shift leaves behind first. We have read more than 2,000+ catalogs and found 78% of them invisible to AI, almost never because the products were weak. Atomz gives an independent brand the same readable catalog as a brand with a hundred engineers.

Questions merchants ask

Isn't this just AI search with extra steps?+

No. AI search is one of four products and it only works because the catalog underneath is mapped to structured attributes. The category sells the search box, while Atomz fixes the catalog the box reads.

Why does running the agent on my store matter?+

Because the customer, the data, and the margin stay with you. An assistant that lives in ChatGPT hands all three to the platform, while running it on your own store keeps them yours.

How do I know it will work before I pay?+

Run the free audit. It scores your live catalog and shows the gap, so you decide with proof in hand.

Won't Shopify's native AI make this unnecessary?+

No. Shopify Catalog syndicates and ranks your products, but it ranks on the data you provide and auto-infers the rest with varying accuracy. Atomz fills the real attributes so the catalog represents your products as they are, not as a model guessed. Inclusion is free and automatic, while ranking is what you influence, and ranking runs on structured data.
